Statistical Overview
The Orbital Strike Grenade is the most damaging grenade in the game, capable of dealing 1500 damage to a multitude of targets. It has a cooldown of 1.5 minutes and activates 4 seconds after hitting a surface, indicative of the large team-colored sphere and whirring sound and whirring sound it makes while 'charging up'. This grenade has a bright red core, almost identical to the Blast Grenade.
In-Game Behavior
This grenade is best used with Cain since the both of them has high radius and damage making it easy to get kills. Its high damage and relatively decent cooldown speed (for what it does) makes it a very good area control device. Despite requiring 4 seconds to charge up, its massive radius requires a normal Trooper to completely empty their jumpkit to avoid it. Unfortunately it does not pierce shields, meaning it has a hard time killing anything if the enemy is constantly being supplied shields.
