Just Updated
Guys... I will give myself a goal to make a youtube video talking about the entire game and history... I just need some time, give me a few years. In meantime... Try doing your best, please. I love this game, so share it everywhere. Make sure its on Roblox´s first home page.
The stuff im planning to add are:
-Mech weapons/abilites page (may have individual pages)
-Gamemode page (may have individual pages)
-Mech page
-more ordances (like the max suits)
Will add more to list if i do add pages to wiki
Apparently most of these pages exist but in catagory form meaning you cant search them up so i would fix that
Sad to see it die.
Lol, they do not know scanner exists

Is there a page for cosmetics
This is just how I think Overheat's Story would play out if it existed. I bet I missed so much stuff or forgot a few explanations for some things while writing this. Also, I got pretty lazy towards the end .-.
The Teams:
Blue Team
Blue Team is the team that has the upper hand. Most people in this story's world associate the color blue with justice, peace, and other positive characteristics seen with heroes. Though, they treat Red Team horribly due to Red Team's color being associated with villains, and Blue team feeling the need to constantly attack Red Team for this reason. In this story, Blue Team plays the role of antagonist(s).
Red Team
Red Team is a team that is oppressed because, as mentioned before, people think that Red Team is a team that does horrible deeds, even though they're just another group besides Blue Team. Red Team has access to little weaponry due to constant attacks from Blue Team, but they gradually gain more as the story progresses. In this story, Red Team plays the role of protagonist(s).
Prologue: Capital Strike. Year: 2179
Life for both teams doesn't change much. Usually, Red Team tries to recover from previous attacks from Blue Team, only for Blue Team to attack again, hindering them further. This is until Blue Team decides to go all out, and decides to stage a full scale raid on the Red Team Capital Ship. Blue team succeeds in destroying the Red Team Capital Ship, and escapes with a moderate amount of casualties. Red Team's Capital Ship then crashes near Moonbase, and Red Team is stranded.
Stranded on Moonbase
After the crash, Red Team gathered it's remaining troops together and began constructing a settlement on Moonbase in order to regain what was lost. They were able to construct this settlement under Blue's radar due to Blue Team presuming that Red Team had been completely wiped out. 8 months of development later, Red Team has made good progress on recovery, though completely recovering from the crash would take years. Blue Team was busy celebrating their victory even after all that time, and that gave Red Team a good amount of time to continue developing without worry. Red Team had even taken the huge risk of drafting new recruits through a series of well-hidden travel routes to retrieve Anti-Blue supporters and take them back to Moonbase for training.
Expansion to Horizon.
1 year after the events of Capital Strike, Red Team had gathered enough resources to travel to and construct an outpost on an alien planet named "Horizon". They chose to make their outpost in a jungle. This outpost developed a bit slower than the one of Moonbase due to the lack of inhabitants, but it would still be able to keep up with Moonbase as it continued its growth.
Battle in the Towers
3 months after the expansion to Horizon, Red Team set their sights on a Blue Team base which was located on an unnamed frigid planet. This base would be known as "Towers". After doing some research, Red Team discovered that the Base had been established due to a mysterious item that was contained within a crashed VTOL being present in the area. Apparently, this item needed to be researched, so the set up the base and dedicated it to that function. Either way, Red Team only wanted to attack the base because it had many useful resources within the towers, of which containing improved Powersuits, which was vital in order to increase the survivability of infantry. Red Team chose to drop in right on top of one of the towers, and make their way down. Red Team was met with a moderate amount of resistance, and suffered few casualties within the first Tower. Red Team looted blueprints and armor pieces and continued on. Along the way to the second Tower, Red Team picked up some extra weaponry, which would prove very useful during their raid against the second Tower. In the second Tower, Max Suits appeared, and they began shredding through Red Team's troops, leaving many injuries and 13 deaths at the hands of the Max Suits. Though, Red Team pushed forward, using newly acquired Cobra rocket launchers to dispose of the previously dangerous Max Suits. Red Team continued onwards, clearing out the second Tower, then continuing onwards into the third Tower. Not much happened in the third Tower, with things going smoothly as they earned some extra weapons and more armor, with the least amount of casualties out of any Tower. They also picked up some Modifiers for their armor, which was a huge achievement. After heading to the fourth Tower, they faced a lot more troops than they had seen before, and struggled to advance. Regardless, they pulled through, but with severe casualties. The mysterious item was not found.
Attempted Retaliation
After discovering what happened at Towers, Blue Team was outraged. Though, they were more angry at how they would tell the public that all that celebration was for nothing, rather than at the fact that so many of their own men and women had died. In response, Blue Team sent out swarms of ships to hunt down Red Team, to no avail. Red Team had scattered around different planets in order to confuse Blue Team, and also decided to shoot down some of the ships Blue Team sent out, just to hurt them even more. After this failure, Blue Team was left in shambles.
Scattered Battles
2 months after the Towers raid, Blue Team has finally located Red Team forces scattered on different areas. Blue Team sends out countless amounts of troops to engage in combat, and many planets become warzones. These battles were fought mostly with infantry, but sometimes Max Suits appeared when they were shipped to the battlefield.
----------------------Time of Discovery Begins--------------------------
During this time, many new weaponry
and technological enhancements are developed,
causing a massive shift in the strategies used
in battle, what is seen in battle, and how
battles are conducted.
Mechanized Warfare
Blue Team develops Mechs in an attempt to turn the tides of the countless battles that were being fought, which worked for some time, until Red team got their hands on the mech blueprints and began producing their own mechs to use in battle, too.
Draining the Soul
After countless months of study and research, Blue Team finally deciphered the code hidden within the mysterious item that had been found in Towers. There were multiple of these items, and they were coordinate beacons. After following the coordinates, Blue Team sent a single trooper to investigate. There, the trooper came into contact with a strange weapon called Soulsiphon. The moment the trooper touched Soulsiphon, they became possessed by the weapon, and was now the host of Soulsiphon. The trooper could still act on his own, but Soulsiphon was now controlling part of him. After arriving back at base, the trooper tested out the weapon. Though, each time the trooper had to reload, he felt part of himself getting taken away, almost as if his life force was being slowly drained away by the weapon. Though, with enough medical equipment around him, he could safely use the weapon and survive through the reload penalty.
Augmentation
While Blue Team was researching Soulsiphon, Red Team experimented with Augmentation for its troopers, which would effectively make it so that the trooper could just use enhanced parts of their body to fight in battle. The first trooper to be augmented was an injured commander who was on the brink of death, but was an extremely useful asset to Red Team's forces. His right arm, left leg, and torso had Augments installed, some replacing limbs, while others just adding onto an already functional body part. The commander also got extra enhancements, like a large blade attached to his right arm which could be used on enemies in critical condition to execute them, along with a jumpkit that replenished fuel upon the user eliminating an opponent. To go with those Augments, the commander also got a special attachment to his helmet which allowed him to target his enemy's weak points, allowing him to damage them even more. In the future, more troopers would be augmented, and Blue Team eventually discovered and copied this technology for thei own forces.
Trenches and Heat
Once Red had finished with their Augment experiments, they set their sights on more new weaponry. After wandering around Moonbase, they found a crashed ship with a body laying down outside the cockpit. They searched the body, and found attachments that looked like they could be put on the Lancer. They placed it onto a Lancer, and it fit perfectly. Meanwhile, the Red Team members at the Offshore Facility found a crate that couldn't be opened. They sent images of the crate, and the people at Moonbase found a connection between the Lancer Attachment and the Crate. After taking a Lancer and an Assault Lancer, both with the attachments on, to the crate, the crate opened, revealing a Lancer with a blade attached to the underside. The attachment fit on the Lancer variant. Soon after, more of these crates were found on two others areas, those being Monoliths and Refinery. Once they had opened these crates, they got Heat Cells, which they didn't know what to do with at first. After a while, they found a drone that was in need of Heat Cells in order to finish a project. They gave the drone the Heat Cells, and the drone payed them back with a special tool called a Heat Launcher, which could be attached to troopers and used in battle.
Drones and Shields
Discovering that Red Team had been gathering artifacts, Blue Team jumped ahead and took the Tech Drone and Shield Aura artifacts before Red Team obtained them. Now, Blue Team both had reliable ways to regenerate ally shields in the midst of battle, along with the ability to repair their drones and have another set of eyes to lock onto enemies during a fight.
-----------------------Time of Discovery Ends---------------------------
The Destruction of Nightfall
4 years after the events of Capital Strike, Blue Team is taking massive hits, both in their army strength and their popularity amongst the people. Out of anger, Blue Team launches an extermination of the city of Nightfall, a less fortunate city which had not advanced as much as other cities on other planets. Blue Team thought that Red Team was secretly using this city's identity to their advantage so that they could conduct research and produce more weaponry without anyone knowing, and thus decided to completely empty the city to prevent this. The city was rendered uninhabitable, but then became another battlefield due to rumors circling around that the city had extremely valuable artifacts hidden within that neither team had seen.
Zombification
Following the destruction of Nightfall, right before fighting broke out in the area between both teams, Blue Team sent a group of Marines to investigate the sight for any useful objects. The first thing the Marines noticed was that the area had severe radiation, and Blue Team deployed safe zones in order to shield the Marines from the radiation. Though, since the Marines had to move around, the safe zone had to move, but it could not move along with the Marines, and instead was teleported to set locations around the area, forcing the Marines to move through the radiation. Along the way to the second area the safe zone had teleported to, the Marines noticed they were down a member. Looking around, they saw a strage figure in the distance, and as it moved closer to the Marines, they finally figured out what is was: a zombified trooper. This meant that there had been Red Team activity in Nightfall, but now all the members that were there had been zombified by the many chemicals that were launched into the city during the extermination. The Marines shot down the zombie, only for it to stand back up after collapsing for a few seconds. Panic broke out, and the Marines began running, exposing themselves to the radiation, only to be picked off one by one due to other zombies being in the area. Only one survived, and they escaped with minor injuries. After being taken from the area, one of the zombies hijacked an abandoned VTOL to chase after them with the rest of the zombies, only to become lost in space during the chase.
A Third Team
The war between Red Team and Blue Team had been escalating for a while now, but it had reached its peak. Battles were brutal, with many casualties, areas ravaged, resources wasted, and it had also been taking a toll on many of the troopers fighting in the war. This sparked the creation of a third team, called Orange Team. The team was formed during a battle in Bastion, where high ranking troopers from both teams stopped firing at each other, and met each together at the middle of the battlefield. After a bit of talking, they finally finished their meetup. Once they finished, all the participants in the meeting turned around and looked at their fellow teammates who observed them speaking to one another, and then opened fire. Both sides were wiped out, and the remaining high ranking troopers found a VTOL and took off with it. This was alarming news to both teams, since they had just lost many useful assets to their forces, and now faced them as enemies.
Interruptions
After the forming of Orange Team, almost every battle between Red Team and Blue Team was interrupted by the sudden appearance of Orange Team, which usually resulted in Orange Team eliminating all forces on both sides, before quickly departing to head into another battle to repeat the same process.
Unknown Intervention
Orange Team had only been around for a month and a half before suddenly disappearing completely. The last time they were seen, it was when they were all headed into battle, but the location of said battle was unknown. After that sighting, they were never heard of again. Many speculated that they were erased entirely during the battle, but others find that unrealistic.
Assault
After winning a battle against Blue Team in a lava-filled area, Red Team decided to follow the Blue Team extraction ship instead of destroying it before they could leave. This led to a huge discovery, that being the location of the Blue Team Capital Ship. Red Team prepared to launch an attack on the Blue Team Capital Ship, just like they had 5 years before.
Attack of the Gunship
Before fully raiding the Blue Team Capital ship, Red Team sends a team of Marines to safely breach the area so Red Team had a clear path inside. As the Marines entered Hangar Bay 11, something began to play on the ships audio system. "Alert! Intruders detected in Hangar Bay 11." The Marines rushed to secure the area, and once they had finished doing so, they heard to audio again. "Alert! Hangar bay 11 has been captured by the intruders. Deploying Gunship..." From the center of the Hangar Bay, the ground split in half, slwly retracting to let the Gunship emerge from the depths. Once the Gunship had been deployed, the Marines tried their hardest to take it down. In the end, the Marines were able to destroy the Gunship, but not without having almost their entire squadron killed, Only 3 out of the 15 Marines survived.
Finale
Once the Gunship had been destroyed, the remaining Marines told the Red Team forces that it was time to begin the raid, and Red Team forces began flooding into the ship. first, they sent out many squadrons of troopers armed with Aegis to clear out the area, and then began sending in other troops to secure the hangar bay. Once they had finished with the hangar bay, they advanced further into the ship, disabling some of the defense systems keeping them from reaching the core. After finally reaching the core room, they disabled the core defenses, and began unloading everything they had onto the core, Blue Team pushed the Red Team forces back out of the core room, but fell under the constant resistance. After 5 years, Red Team finally got their revenge and destroyed the core. Red Team quickly fled, and one of the members got a good picture of the explosion.
The End.
Rookbane returned to the wiki recently. Despite being a editor for the wiki, I had no idea who they were until they got rid of the editor list. Turns out he was the owner who left to get milk for almost an entire year.
So honestly, my thoughts personally? They should have informed the Overheat Wiki Staff of there return, and shouldn't have so abruptly changed the front page.
I have also heard that Rookbane has been found to been doing some Gameplay Ruining Tactics™ on the rare indigenous population of Overheat Cave Men. These reports consist of (to my knowledge):
Deliberately grapple stunning players
Defending Gameplay Ruining Tactics™ by saying "They Exist"
How would these be a problem? Some may ask. To put it simply, majority of the Wiki Editors/Staff have decided that these actions are considering Gameplay Ruining Tactics™, some examples include:
Using Freeze
Constantly & Deliberatly Grapple Stunning
Using the Funsiphon™
Hydra, Talon, and Carnifex Alt Fires
Etc.
So effectively, to the council of the Overheat Wiki, and essentially the deathbringers to anyone doing Gameplay Ruining Tactics™, found this man guilty of Gameplay Ruining Tactics™, and is therefore a Heretic.
So in summary:
Rookbane comes back with the milk after almost a year w/o telling anyone, and just reassumed control like its nothing
Proceeds to revamp the main page without any staff approval
Receives a negative rep with the long time wiki staff
Gets found of being a heretic for using Gameplay Ruining Tactics™
Hello, Overheat: Mech Warfare Wiki! I am Ox Rookbane, the founder of the Overheat: Mech Warfare Wiki and a Bureaucrat and Administrator (Sysop). You may not know me much as I founded the wiki and then ceased working on the project quickly, so I thought a little introduction would be nice.
Currently, there is a lack of a central "Rules" page on the Wiki where users and staff can refer to and understand what is permitted and what is not permitted. This causes a large problem as users may feel like they can do whatever they please or users may feel that there are no boundaries on the staff team. And because I have recently came back to work on this project, it would not be fair for me to write all the rules without any community consensus. So I will be attempting to ask all users of the Overheat: Mech Warfare Wiki on what they think should be allowed and shouldn't be allowed. In general, Global Fandom policies are already in place. And right now, major violations of Roblox policies will also be moderated on the Wiki (i.e. selling or distributing Roblox accounts)
What I am looking for (examples of some sample topics):
Should swearing/inappropriate language (within reason) be allowed on the Wiki?
What should be the general timeframe for some punishments? (How long should a user be blocked for spamming/being disrespectful/etc?)
There aren't many topics to suggest as an examples. Know that some topics are not up for debate (Vandalism is always going to be punished immediately; but, users can suggest how long the punishment should be for) and will be enforced regardless of user decision.
The goal of this announcement is to hopefully create some dialogue in the community on what should and shouldn't be allowed and what some other concerns are in the community. This doesn't work if you do not contribute! Please, make serious and meaningful contributions!
Please help, I've been trying to destroy it for days.
Just look at this
-Ideas for boss?
-This game is about mechs, so lets make Mech-boss.
-NAH, LETS JUST MAKE STEREOTYPE CHOPPER-BOSS!
The game died :(
